Dispatch Recordings at Plan B – 17th May

Heavy-hitting drum and bass label DISPATCH RECORDINGS return to London for their first-ever solo show, following up from their recent onslaught of upfront releases, including SCAR (Survival & Scripts’) massive ‘Call To Arms’ EP and Kolectiv, Dexta & Mauoqs’ ‘The Roots EP’.
With exclusive sets from the full Dispatch artist roster (showcasing the wealth of the imprint’s current and forthcoming material), they’ll be touching down at Brixton’s Plan B on Saturday 17th May for an all-night syncopated workout. Tickets are available from RA and Def Tickets ages 18 and up.
With label head-honcho Ant TC1 backed up by the cream of the Dispatch all-stars, he’ll be performing alongside hand-picked special guests including Rinse FM’s Icicle and 1xtra’s DJ Bailey bringing a classic Blue Note set; its comes in preparation for the release of his three-years in the waiting, rebooted remix of Zero T and Scripts’ huge ‘Guessing Games’ (Fabric Live 52) on Dispatch Recordings – and the inimitable vocal sounds of Dispatch long-timers MC Fokus, JC and Gusto to name but a few of the artists performing on the night.
Dispatch will be holding up both of Plan B’s two floors and smashing both Funktion one sound systems throughout the night with a flurry of beats, bass and bars. Definitely an event that’s already attracting a lot of attention across the forward thinking forums and drum and bass online spaces, fans of future-facing, forward-thinking syncopated beats are in for a treat this Spring. Don’t forget your earplugs – it’s going to get loud!
