Get set for the Summer of Sax with Bakermat

bakermat

With a truly unique house sound, young Dutch producer Bakermat is certainly a stand out talent. Uitzicht is set to become one of the tracks of the summer.  The original track has already gone viral with an unmastered version gaining hundreds of thousands of views on Soundcloud and Youtube, it is very easy to see why.

Bakermat is more than just an online sensation, he has been selling out shows all over Europe this year and has recently been announced to play a set on the mainstage at Mysteryland Festival alongside Joris Voorn, Steve Angello, Steve Aoki and Fedde Le Grand.

This is the first release on the Soundplate label. One amazing track that is set to become a summer anthem and three great remixes.

The eclectic blend of deep house, jazz, blues and soul has led to a huge leap of attention in a short space of time for the young producer, this Dutch export perfectly combines abstract elements such as flutes and saxophone into his tracks.

The Uitzicht EP embodies Bakermat’s ability to think outside of the box and create some distinctly unique productions. The original kicks off with a thumping bass line before Bakermat’s trademark sax gradually creeps in, building up a sweet progressive vibe. Combining this with some uplifting piano chords, this is the perfect summer track and echoes like a timeless classic.

Harry Wolfman completely transforms the original with his darker twist, whilst really emphasising the abstract elements from the title track. This takes the form of a perfect after hours track for lovers of all things deep!

Bants is next up on the remixing duties, with a percussive driven tech-house interpretation. This picks up the pace on the EP and is a definite peak time dance floor track.

Tonique’s remix really rounds off the EP, starting off with some ambient chords before the bouncing bass line drops – bursting with plenty of groove.
