Student Brake Away: Six countries, 1000 students, one wacky race!

Now in its eighth year, Student Brake Away is a car rally through Europe aimed at giving young people the ultimate summer adventure.

This year over 400 cars will rally through party cities such as Amsterdam and Munich and smaller, picturesque locations such as Novalja and Ljubljana where drivers will take in the scenery and indulge in some thrill seeking activities such as kite surfing or wakeboarding.

The event culminates with a three-day party at Croatian beach club Papaya (which this year featured in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 venues in the world) headlined by Kiss FM DJs The Loose Cannons and Shapeshifters.

Last year’s drivers included Tarzan Team – complete with tiger fur vehicle – pictured below.

This year’s event takes place in August and will be filmed by MTV Europe. A percentage of all profits for this event will go to charity Shelterbox – which provides disaster relief.

For more information or media requests, contact A spokesperson from Student Brake Away is available for interviews, as are The Loose Cannons.
